My name is Jeremy Kimble and currently I am the Director for the Youth Ministry Institute, a ministry of Teens for Christ in Lima, OH. The YMI is a unique ministry training opportunity for college students that allows them to pursue an accredited degree while also engaging in full-time ministry. I am also an online instructor at Liberty University and Taylor University. Recently I acquired my PhD in Theological Studies from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. I am a disciple of Jesus Christ who earnestly desires to glorify God, engage in a lifestyle of worship, ruthlessly kill sin, and participate in God’s mission to all peoples. This blog is written in the hopes that it will catalyze people to treasure God above all things, and in so doing find their deepest satisfaction.
I am married to my sweet wife Rachel and have two vibrant and enthusiastic children, Hannah (6) and Jonathan (3). Prior to this I have served in pastoral ministry for seven years in various capacities. While a variety of items could be addressed in a blog of this nature, I will seek to focus on Scripture and theology, particularly for the sake of application to the Christian life.
